Study Communities & Support

Retaking need not be a lonely journey ... especially when there are resources to support you !

Below are other initiatives that could aid you on your retaking journey/provide more perspective. Furthermore, we have included a list of tutors  and tuition centres you could reach out to for academic aid !

PCJC Discord Server

The PCJC discord study server is dedicated to those retaking their A Levels.

Students of a similar subject combination will be put together into small groups of 4-5 with a mentor attached. Mentors are students who have previously retaken the A Levels or those who believe they can support retakers in their journeys. Students can record and submit the amount of time they have studied to earn points for their 'class' and compete with other classes on the leaderboard. The goal is to be a community that can support one another in the retaking journey.

the Happygappy podcast

The HappyGappy Podcast is a podcast dedicated to providing more information about taking a gap year. The podcast serves to mitigate the stigma associated with gap years and share stories about individuals who’ve taken a gap year. Amongst the many stories of various individuals, the podcast also sheds light on those who took a gap year to retake the A Levels.

Gapyearsg

GapyearSG is a platform created to increase accessibility to opportunities and create a strong support system for gappers

(including those who are taking a gap year to retake the A Levels)
